Experimental investigation of thermal problem of dry friction brake using different friction materials

چکیده

The most important machine elements of the braking system are brake disc and pads. During process, torque is necessary to decelerate speed vehicle or stop it. High amount frictional heat will be generated during process due sliding between moving part (brake disc) fixed parts pads). present research involves two parts, in first it investigated effects difeeerent properties three friction materials (St37-2, G95 HCC) on thermal behavior system. While, second part, expedite work achieved measure temperature distribution process. A parametric study was find out effect different factors such as angular velocity, applied pressure material propertiese performance minimum values obtained when using (HCC) which about 52.3 °C, 53.8 for St37-2 56.8 °C. increases with velocity pressure, maximum (St37-2) pad value material.
